My first waxed bulb amaryllis came home with this impressive #bud already growing. Three weeks later it produced magnificent pink and white blooms.

An amaryllis bulb, coated with pale yellowish-green wax, sits on a table. It has begun to sprout leaves and a flower spike. The spike is about 3 inches tall. My photo, March 27, 2024.

I just brought in this sewing box decorated with rosebuds from my car backseat. It & its sundry contents were Mom's, unearthed a few weeks ago by my brother. Now most will be gifts I post today on #BuyNothing . More in ALT-TEXT.

It was only a light #Shower , but who could resist walking with my grandson in his cute raincoat to pick up the mail? More details in AltText.

My 2 1/2 year old grandson loves to visit the outdoor mailboxes in my townhouse complex. Sometimes he takes his play shopping cart to carry the mail. On this day a few weeks ago, he took his play school bus to carry the mail. His colorful raincoat has antennae and large round eyes on the hood. I dont get much mail, so I usually let mail accumulate all week so there is a big haul of mostly flyers for local stores or window replacement companies.

This was one of my hotel rooms in Hong Kong in 2013. The door opened right where I was standing (foot of the bed). The #shower can be seen behind the pillows on the bed (protected by glass). The toilet was in with the shower.

There's an island just outside of town with a great path around it to walk in the woods by the ocean. I love going there. This day, after a hard rain #shower , there was a huge heart shaped puddle in the middle of the path.😲💚

We we bought our home, the en suite bathroom was dated (early 80s) and the shower was tiny - claustrophobic. My elbows hit the walls when I stepped in and pretended to wash my hair. We opted to do a remodel before we moved in. Now I love our spacious shower!
