A lot of good messages here; I'm working on my own list.
Still, I'm made nervous when someone brings out the stat that people who are positive about aging live longer. Correlation is not causation, and requiring positivity of people with illnesses, e.g. can lead to blaming them for their plight.

Of course there is a furor when some of the hidden and externalized costs of driving are revealed and we ask drivers to take on more of them. Drivers already feel the burden. A system overdependent on cars is not sustainable, but boy have we worked hard to pretend it is.

We grumbled about Kasich; we screamed about McDaniel. That NYTimes seems unable to tell the difference is bad.
If NBC can't find someone to represent pro-Trump viewpoints who is acceptable, it's because a prominent pro-Trump viewpoint is that we should no longer have a free press or be a democracy.

Much bigger than a disappointment, this is a disgrace & NBC/MSNBC becomes a participant in the autocratic danger many of their anchors, reporters, contributors, & staff have been working hard against. It's a betrayal of journalistic & democratic ideals. It's bad for the country, hell even the brand.
