Ive had an unusual uptick of "reach outs" on LinkedIn and now I know why...even if I was interested in that kind of writing I can struggle enough on my own. And I was raised never to cross picket lines. I hope to instead continue to work independently and convey things the way I wish to.

I was there for those early days the only cool thing I remember was being able to custom our individual pages with decor. They realized how busy that made things so they limited us to profile pics and banners. Spoutible is way better from the drop than Twitter was.

I am sorry to hear that, but I would like to point out Bluesky had to disable new sign ups because the app wasn't working correctly. Spoutible is 5 months old, and I am not sure what you expect from an app that is less than a year old.

People forget how terrible Twitter was the first two years after they launched. The site crashed often, and they didn't have nearly the amount of traffic we have.

I love when new folks join Spoutible & I want it to grow; probably needs to to be sustainable. But I want them to come cuz they're interested in a new kind of SM that limits harassment & abuse, that celebrates diversity & protects the marginalized. Not because their usual site isn't working well.

No, you're not doing anything wrong. It just takes a little time to find everyone. I see lots of writers on my explore tab, but they don't generally use hashtags. So you're best bet is explore tab. I think eventually we will get a little more organized.
