I'm not anti-gun. I grew up w guns, and I believe one group of ppl should not be the only ones armed. That said, our current CHAOS is insanity! At the very absolute minimum, they should be regulated like cars. (I'd say both should be reg'd more honestly, but it would be a start!)

My kid's school went into lockdown today. Not a drill. They texted me from hiding. All I could do was text back how much I love them.
After a while they were released. Went back to math, but couldn't focus (duh!) My heart is still stopped.
