I watched Dark Shadows every day after school. Several few years ago, I had the opportunity to tour Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, New York, which was used for the exteriors.

I live in the same - smallish - town as her (Santa Fe) - she truly lights up any space she visits here. And she advocates for so many wonderful programs and events (animal rescues, international folk art market, the city itself).

I saw The Rolling Thunder Revue, 1976, Florida State University (FSU) in Tallahassee. I wasn't a Bob Dylan fan (it took a while to realize it was him when a guy came out in what looked like a shroud), I was there to see Joan Baez.

I saw Allan Sherman in concert in Atlantic City, early 1960s when I was little. My parents had his album My Son, The Folk Singer, I played it endlessly, sang along, marching around the coffee table. He was a genius.

I saw The Moody Blues in concert in the early 1990s in South Florida.
I never heard a lyric or note. Insanely loud, sound system distorted everything, sounded like a wall of mud. Many walked out.

I saw David Cassidy in concert in Miami Beach in the early 1970s. A classmate's mother worked at the venue and got tickets. He put on a helluva show!

I saw Sammy Davis Jr in concert 4 times. I'm a Democrat but at 16 I was at 1972 GOP concert (where Sammy hugged Nixon) for Sammy. He was a Democrat & supported Kennedys but when they did him wrong he supported Nixon in 72. I shook Sammy's hand, eventually gave it back

I saw James Taylor in concert in the 1980s.
My favorite of his songs -- and I think it's his best -- is an early one, and not one of his more famous ones, but it's absolutely gorgeous.
