Atlanta always has money for Police, while Firefighters pay lags 10K less than the national avg. Sure police may occasionally encounter danger, but firefighters ALWAYS face danger, and you can't shoot an unarmed fire when you are "in fear for your life".

My youngest sis (34) just texted me horrified that she is hearing the music that she grew up with in grocery stores, elevators etc. She remembers being 10 & me telling her that was how I knew I was getting old. Told her the next thing is noticing how young the people in the pharma commercials are!
