Rewatched that one a half dozen times. 2nd one maybe once? 3rd, never. Just... no idea wth they were thinking.

Nah, right to be pissed; he spiked him 3 feet past the bag. Little leaguers slide better than that. Everyone running onto the field was idiotic; a little chilly, maybe they needed a warmup.

When I saw his post, I was like "I don't say it like that" and found myself saying it both ways when I thought it out so /shrug. brains are weird.

Caught Soul Coughing live in Buffalo way back when; so much fun. Nice small venue (my preference for most acts), and they would stop their set (in time) to mock people who would try to mosh.

Yes, it should work the same for all major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge), and more than likely any others.

A hard refresh (CTRL-F5 on most browsers on Windows) applies to the current page open, only. Generally when you go into your browser settings and clear cookies, etc., it does it for everything. So a bit more extreme/annoying.

For Windows? No, a soft refresh is when you just hit F5 (or use the refresh button in the browser). CTRL-F5 for a hard refresh has been the norm long enough that I do it without a 2nd thought (guessing somewhere in the late 90s/early 2000s?). Long time dev, so it's a bit of a blur.

If on MacOS, might be the command button instead of CTRL, don't remember.

Hold CTRL and hit F5. It tells the browser to not use cached assets for the current web page, so things like CSS style sheets for display, Javascript for dynamic logic, etc. are all refreshed with the current versions from the server, even if they're not considered stale cache-wise.

He's playing 1B, and pretty poorly. But his OF defense is essentially non-existent, so no other choice. Again, hoping they fix it in next version, but not holding my breath.

He's got quick wrists and will occasionally mash a HR to RF with almost a 3/4 swat at the ball... makes you wonder if he were more aggressive he might get back to 30+ HR's.

As a Mets fan, main issue was he's completely one dimensional; platoon DH, can't field, and I think I walk faster than he runs. Power numbers seem lower than they should be (too patient, maybe?). That said, seems like a good dude + clubhouse presence, so could do worse as he will get on base.

Pentax SD 10x42 WP. I have 2 of their DSLRs and all my lenses are Pentax; I really like their build quality + things tend to be weather-proofed. I haven't used it in the wild yet, but it does have a tripod mount. I picked up a monopod last year I might try with it (walking stick when not attached)

It's more for allergies for me, although after last year also for forest fire smoke. Main downside is it's not small so if I build it, finding a place for it to run (or for storage when not) is a bit of an issue.

Thanks; actually have some of those filters from an attempt a few years ago at putting one behind a box fan (a bit of a failure; very little airflow + worried about the motor). Going w/ box of multiple filters gives better airflow, which makes sense. Worth a shot.

Mine's kind of the opposite; very cheap one I bought right out of college that refuses to break (so I refuse to replace). It's 700 watts, so every. recipe. anywhere. is waaaay low. Reheating a keiser roll at 50% power takes a minute (literally).

Even better for driving a programmer crazy, that user config isn't checked into version control so... decent chance no one else would be able to hit it.

Thanks, I hear you. The one I have definitely has issues with accuracy in very cold weather (but this was mid-30s, so not the case), so I was already thinking of upgrading to a chest-strap monitor. Need to do more research, especially regarding a-fib.
