Last summer, I walked across this 1/2-mile #long floating bridge in a marsh within PEI National Park (Prince Edward Island, Canada). What a beautiful experience!

This may be my favorite photo that I've ever taken. I was on the cusp of moving to Colorado and was thrilled by the beauty all around -- Mills Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park (Colorado, USA).

I visited the Hopewell Rocks at the Bay of Fundy (New Brunswick, Canada) last summer during low tide! We walked among these dark heaps of sea weed, which were lying flat without water to float their long tendrils. At high tide, water can be 50 feet deeper! #weed #DailyPictureTheme @DailyPictureTheme

When he was 5, my son revealed that his clock tried to scare him 2x a day! Can you see the clock spelling out, "Boo"? He loved being scared, so it was great fun to him! #spell #DailyPictureTheme @DailyPictureTheme

After every piece of fabric I sew in a quilt, I #press the seam. I made this for my 12-yr-old, out of years and years of scraps.

A quilt lies on the ground. The overall pattern is diamond-shaped. The borders are red and blue. Red fabric is also in the center of the quilt, along with so many other colors. I named it Kaleidoscope.

This kid was being a real #pain -- demanding a piggy-back ride when he could've walked. Upon refusal, he resorted to the age-old tactic of adhering himself to a parent's leg. #DailyPictureTheme

An unusual view tonight at Severance Music Center: the restored Norton Memorial Organ for the opening piece BREATHING FORESTS, a concerto for organ & orchestra by California composer Gabriella Smith, born in 1991, written in 2021 for organist James McVinnie & premiered in LA.

We've only hatched praying mantes one time because I was so anxious that they wouldn't #stay in their container and would end up all over our house!

I recently had "blooming tea" for the first time. The tightly-bound tea balls would unfurl and #perk right up in hot water. This one was a delicious orange-infused green tea.
A clear glass sits on a kitchen counter. The glass is 2/3 full of water that is tinged yellow-green. A 4-level flower creation (like a mini bouquet) is seen in the water, wider at the bottom of the glass and smaller/narrower toward the top of the water.

When my oldest was little, he'd sometimes sit on the small #rug at the front door, hoping that someone would ring the doorbell and fun would ensue!
