So many folks talk about how they're being "forced to accept" things that go against their beliefs. You're not being force to accept them.
If you have a problem with people of color, with gay marriage, with trans people, with immigrants or with women who need abortions, then you're still welcome to feel however you want to feel about those people. You're just not allowed to make their lives harder because of your feelings. You're not allowed to turn their daily lives into a battle ground.
No one is forcing you to "accept" a single thing. You're just not being allowed to terrorize people.

Don't know how this didn't hit my radar earlier.
Apparently in 2022, a crypto group, Spice DAO, paid way, way too much (like, 100x too much) for a rare art book, 'Jodorowsky’s Dune,' thinking that somehow gave them copyrights to the designs?
And, of course, they had planned to sell the art as NFTs.

Is Spoutible acting weird for anyone else?

I can make and post spouts, and access Profile, Notifications, Making Waves, and Bookmarks.

However, Timeline and Explore just time out.
Over, and over, and over.
I've killed my browser, cleared caches, and still can't see the main conversations.

Please, _call_ and email your Senators to vote NO against KOSA.

The act is being presented as a protective sheepdog, but it's a ravenous wolf - with our LGBTQ+ youth on the menu.

Here's a 1 minute script I lifted from threnody.bsky.social which helps explain why this bill is not what we need.

My name is ______(fill in the blank)
and I'm one of your constituents.
I'm calling to urge you to vote NO on KOSA - the Kids Online Safety Act. The bill's sponsors claim it will protect kids by placing a duty of care on online platforms to prevent anything that could be harmful.
The power to decide what's harmful has been ceded to the FTC.
FTC leadership is made by presidential appointment. Current president Lina Khan may proceed fairly, but what happens when the next Donald Trump is in the Oval Office? What if it's Trump himself? Do you trust a Trump appointee not to abuse this enforcement power?
KOSA claims to protect kids, but it's poorly designed and, given time, it will absolutely and without question, harm LGBTQ children, adults, and anyone who needs information on reproductive health or abortion.
KOSA author, Senator Marsha Blackburn, said she introduced KOSA in part - and I quote - "to protect minor children from the transgender in our society." The Heritage Foundation proudly ...
