I believe that as a new site, things will be tried, and some things will work while other things will need to be changed. I am uncomfortable with the bot ratings, so I will not be logging in again while that is a thing.

This is not a great response. People are still testing the waters on a new site and this rating thing is a legit concern. "You will adjust" sounds bit like an overlord. I don't care what the ratings mean, I don't like the idea of a bot publicly judging ppl.

I like the ux of this site.
I like the idea of more control that has been provided.
I like the idea of bots and trolls being managed.
But the pushback I have received from people I've suggested to join is the site feels like a police state or social credit system. I am starting to see that now

I'm reading the book, What's Our Problem", which lists 4 ways of thinking.

In 2016 I started drinking too much. I was angry at so many people. I was hurt. I was confused. But I was hurting myself. It took the forced break of 2020 for me to start to re-evaluate and find ways to be more curious than angry. Not to accept but to try to understand.

Because my husband and I consolidated our student loans years ago, it looks like we will not benefit from any forgiveness program. Sucks for us, but I still think we need to forgive as many loans as possible, even if we don't get to be included.
