I still had dye left in my trash can indigo vat so I dyed a kilogram of wool yarn. I had to add more reducing agent and when you put protein fibers in high pH, you can add hide glue to protect, but I tried regular gelatin instead (should be same and less stinky and also cheaper).

I was running some dyepots and I sat down in the hallway to read (but still be close in case I needed to check anything) and I ended up taking a 20 minute nap in the hallway in a really awkward and uncomfortable position.

Survey I have to take to check in for my mammogram...gets mad at me if I don't answer whether I'm BRCA1/2 positive or negative. I can't answer that question because I have never been tested. Guessing the answer is no because I have no relatives who have had breast cancer, but I simply don't know!

Ick, my house smells like cauliflower.

I found half a bag in the freezer and it was not past its "sell by" date so I suggested we use it so it went in the Crock Pot this afternoon and now the house stinks. (Food was good though.)

Yankee Candle wax melt isn't up to the task though...

I'm not my most efficient with work this week (though still managing to get a few things done) but have paid 6 months of car insurance, ordered my cat's Flovent from Canada, ordered flea/heartworm preventative for my cats, and made 2 follow up vet appointments, all of which I'd been putting off.

All the talk about medical screenings on my timeline today reminds me of why I go do what the doctor says. In 2017 I went to the doctor for a physical for the first time in probably over a decade. I had lost 45 pounds (on purpose, in a safe amount of time) and my blood pressure did not decrease.

I love Amazon pricing oddities. You can get 3 of these for $199.99 or 4 of them for $54.89. OK?

(Also I did not know you could buy gas cylinders on Amazon but I guess you learn something every day.)
