Well said... only speaking for myself but what works for me is connecting with other folks on topics of common interest, which can lead to other items of interest. I guess that's a long-winded way of saying "quality over quantity".

Reminds me of that joke, where a person keeps swearing. His friend said "stop swearing or God will get mad". Guy swears again and lightning strikes a tree next to him. Then a loud voice from the sky says "D*mn it! I missed!!!".

Agree 💯 He's been married to his better half Kyra since 1988... not too shabby! His charity, sixdegrees.org, also seems to be a real charity with real goals.

My favorite performance of KB is Taking Chance where he plays Lt. Col. Mike Strobl:

BTW, forgot to make my disclaimer that I'm an iPhone user so the opinion is purely from what I've read (should have led with that!). Article that compares the Tile Pro and the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2. Good luck!

The sprint race was good, lots of hard but fair racing. The battle between Charles and Carlos is interesting, but not surprising.

Reminds me of a story Maria Ressa told about her conversation with Zuck:

Zuck - "What are the 3% doing?"

It's nice when coaches and players look beyond their immediate surroundings to see how they can give back to the sport. Caitlin may have been the reason I tuned in to women's basketball but there's no shortage of talent. 👏

I have to admit I was cheering for Iowa but the win was well-deserved by SC, who overcame a very hot Iowa start (Clark had 18 points in the 1st quarter!). It's also a win for women's basketball! 👏👍

It was a great game! Iowa got off to a hot start, then LSU came back in a big way and rattled Iowa a bit. Iowa eventually settled down and tied the game at the half. I didn't know who had the edge, then Caitlin turned it on in the most Caitlin way and that was it!

The game lived up to the hype. The pace of the game was intense! Although not exactly surprising, Clark went on a tear in the 3rd quarter and got Iowa to an 11pt. lead to get some distance between them and LSU.

I think that explains why there was no initial report on what happened (they had to see if foul play was involved; sounds like no).

Read Aryna is still playing Miami but not doing press (of course). No judgement, everyone processes grief their own way.

Yep...

Then there are the unique "American" terms. Like co-pays / deductibles that are uniquely American. I read recently that in the UK, they don't even have a billing department in the hospital... 🤷

The UK has a lot of interesting/different terms used in the medical setting:

A&E (what we call ER)
Consultant (senior doctor)
GP (primary care)

I think my intro was reading Dr. Henry Marsh's books (Do No Harm and And Finally).
