I'm still learning. :( I'm in a class with some people who've had three months of exposure and already sound fluent.
I'm struggling to get past my post-beginner plateau. But my teachers are enthusiastic and usually don't wince visibly when I talk.

He lacks imagination. He could set up, oh, I don't know, a charity to get money to help children with cancer, and then just steal all the money for himself—
What's that? he's already done that? And is forbidden from forming any new charity?
Never mind then.

As I grew older and read more of his works, I still saw some of that hope buried in the cynicism.
It was pretty deep, though. :)

Thank you.
I think grief is normal. Sadness is normal. When we lose someone valuable, grief and sadness are not enemies but perhaps they are not welcome guests!
So I feel what I feel, and know that grief is me reminding me of the value of that friendship.
And so I take it, all of it.

The unfortunate reality is that Donald Trump is exactly who he is. There isn't anything "wrong" with him other than a deeply damaged psyche that includes lack of impulse control, an aversion to bravery, bullying, and love of hurting people he sees as weak.

I am perplexed by the stasis of trouble in Haiti. I know so many Haitians who express their desires for a better life for their families and a place to live in safety.
Yet in certain areas violence is uncontrolled.
There are great people in Haiti. May they find the way forward.

Melon Husk is one of the guys who think that they're smart because people keep telling them that, and through dumb luck.
But his lack of intelligence leads him to continually do dumb things.
He's like T***p and gets by because people are weird and like being convinced by dumb things.

I did a search of my ancestors and I have our family's archives going back to the 1500s.
We came to America by 1740 (first census) and yes, all across the South from North Carolina to Texas you'll find enslavers in my family.
It's shocking because this is just not shared within the family.

The guy already doesn't obey the laws and federal agencies.
Imagine him running a bank and not following the rules issues by FDIC.
Imagine him letting people have a peek into your account.
Hell to the Naw.

Great competitors.
See what they do well, and see if it makes sense. See what they get wrong and don't do that.
I don't think I'll do Spill because i don't think it's where I should be. It feels like I'm walking into a private conversation.

And let me also say this: Few people know how to be transparent within a community. Often we have a "public" face that isn't the real us but is the safe and guarded us.
We appreciate how you tell us stuff that you're thinking and feeling. That shows a lot of strength you might not know you have.

I'm sorry for all that, friend.
There's no denying that it stresses us and both our bodies and minds react, which can drain our energy.
I hope you find the quiet spaces for your own restoration and re-energization.
