A woman in rural Oklahoma developed a nonviable, molar pregnancy that became cancerous. She went to the hospital for an emergency D&C, and they told her she had to wait in the parking lot until her condition became worse before they could treat her.

I made an action figure of The Rocketeer that I'm pretty proud of! 6" tall with soft goods. I used parts from an existing molded plastic figure and then augmented a little brown cloth trench coat into the leather flight jacket he wears. The straps for the jetpack are made from pleather.

What art advice would you give yourself as a teen?
I say: "Work on BASIC DRAWING. Not 'basic' because it's easy, but because it's the BASE, the foundation, of everything you want to accomplish. If a drawing doesn't work as tubes, boxes, wedges & spheres, it won't work when you try to add details."
