Even if you didn’t see the trail marker, you’d know which way to go on this wildflower walk at Billiburning Rock by following the well #worn path!

This old rocker was soooo #Worn & falling apart when I retrieved it from the trash during pandemic lockdown. I reglued all the joints, & painted it in child-friendly colors, and donated it to the local church nursery school as a “teachers’ chair”.

If these adobe bricks look a little #Worn it might be because they are estimated to be around 800 or 900 years old.

In the golden light of early evening beneath a pale gray blue sky, we are standing in front of partially excavated ancient native American pueblo ruins built of adobe bricks. The semiarid plain beyond is covered with pale gold grasses with occasional green leafy shrubs and a few trees. Numerous rocks and small boulders are visible where the grass does not grow. Small grassy ridges and hills rise in the background. Above and beyond them a range of loftier snowcapped mountains towers in the distance.

A fish smoke house near near the sea on les Iles de la Madeleine, Quebec... weather #worn and smoke stained, and the aroma must be experienced to be believed.

These ancient sections of waste pipe were #worn out, and when we replaced them, a horde of waterbugs emerged. The plumbers were able to handle the ones in the basement, and I stomped at least a dozen escapees. I'll spare you the images.
