When the lettuce starts bolting, cut and come again (harvesting outside leaves) no longer works. It’s time to cut off whole lettuce plant.

I just learned that a bee swarm gathered behind home plate at Dback home park hosting Dodgers, so they called a beekeeper (was at his son’s Tball game) who then came up from very minor leagues to majors, took care of the bees, and was invited to throw the ceremonial first pitch. #ITFDB

New glasses back-of-ear adjustment: going from thin metal rims to old style plastic frames means that little wait, what? moment of different eyeglass frame adjustment, that little sound of new glasses frames and oh, upon looking down at kitchen counter, the threat of sore ears for a bit.

So grateful for gardening (began in earnest last year).
