This is a good time to remind people never to discount the capacity for people to be trolls. I'm imagining some Elon-lite figure buying a bunch of these and then filming himself dumping them into the ocean. Obvs I hope that doesn't happen, but reality has taught me to be wary of such tools.

Wife and I recently signed up for Ridwell, which is a subscription recycling service that takes a lot of plastic that would normally landfill/incinerate. We are appalled at how much plastic waste we use -- as we conciously avoid it.

The quotation from TFA, "Waste is a design flaw" is spot on, but

is in conflict with, "choose the business process with the lowest cost." Government policy can affect the latter thinking with proper incentives.
