It feels like being fobbed off, doesn't it? I had that with my seizures. Oh it's probably trauma. Just have a little rest.

And if it's in our heads, it can be dismissed. Yes. I get it all the time in real life too. Oh you walk with a cane? But I've seen you cycle! You can't have arthritis, you're too young! You can't have a brain injury after all this time! Ad nauseum.

Exactly! I work out, because it helps stave off the arthritis some, and I can manage it better. I cycle because I have arthritis in my feet. It hurts less. I've lived with it since I was 16, I'm 44 now.
