Went to an RV show today. Lots of things to consider since I have a son in a wheelchair and an autistic son that wanders. Would love to find something that all of us can do things in.

I have a son who is in a wheelchair and he is on the spectrum. He loves when we take road trips, he’s full of wonder at the smallest things. We’ve gone cross country many times. But he’s very picky about where we stay, which is why I’m contemplating an RV. Would love a 22ft Lazy Daze.

I saw an RV that had two decks. One in back and one on the side. That would help keep the autistic son contained. He is 13 and nonverbal. And the one in a wheelchair is too heavy to carry at 80 lbs. they both do great when traveling.

My son’s about 90lbs & it’s a challenge. I’ll stow his chair &; he’d cruise around the RV interior. He doesn’t use a chair or even a walker at home. He cruises by holding on to furniture. As he’s getting older it’s becoming harder-spasticity, scoliosis. But I like that he’s as active as poss

Unfortunately mine can’t walk. He was severely malnourished in his orphanage and at almost 6 years old he was 10lb. This impacted him a lot, on top of his Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome. We can an age him but our 12 yr old autistic son is the major concern. He wanders and is deaf and non-verbal as well.
