I find it interesting that almost all of these articles that include Spoutible, make it seem as if we are behind. Spoutible is the most feature rich alternative out of all the Twitter alternatives, including Threads.

It’s inertia and laziness. No one in media wants to add another icon to their “contact us” page.

Which is very short sided. Someone like NPR could play kingmaker by solely using Spoutible. They’d get more eyeballs than their webpage currently gets.

I am here on Spoutible to stay, but I still check my "Favorites" list of about 350 people/orgs I follow on Twitter that are not yet here. I don't have to deal with anything else on Twitter except those I have chosen to follow in the past few years.

Spoutible already operates better than🧵's. The bot problem has already started there, and they aren't doing much to handle it.
