Correct. If you don't change the default timezone it will be EDT. You need to change the timezone to match the timezone where you live.

By default, the "Timezone" setting is set to "System default", which is why I've never felt any need to touch it. Should I change it to something more specific, like "CST6CDT"?
Anyways, maybe I'm just imaging it. I'll try to monitor spouts' time stamps a bit more carefully for a while.

Oh, I did not know that. I assumed that by "system default" it meant it will default to the timezone set in my operating system (Windows/ Android/iOS). Thanks @cbouzy 👍. If I may make a suggestion - consider changing the words "system default" to the word "Select". It's less confusing

Click/tap on the 3 line button ---> Settings ---> Timezone ---> choose your timezone from the drop-down menu
