Literally, no one has had their account suspended because of adult content, but if you go to Twitter, you would think we were burning books and banning sex workers. I even saw a tweet with someone claiming we are banning pride flags. It reeks of coordination.

I received a string of tweets warning me off Spoutible for being a scam, losing users, and going out of business. Just want you to know…

Without agreeing on coordination, it's clear some folks are boosting other folks & the pile on against Spoutible is breathtaking. Romance writers can generate a lot of content fast, it seems. Working to spoil Spoutible for those who may find it a safer haven is loathsome mean girls crap.

As I listen to the callers... one just accused you of things you never said. Repeating her false talking points over and over like a MAGAhead... but she's the Sex Worker StrawWoman. She planned this before you spoke.

If we assume that people who start difficult critical conversations act in bad faith, it is easier for hostile forces to coopt valid critique & drive a wedge between progressives. If we don't learn how to constructively engage with internal criticism, the right wing wins.

It is a coordinated attack on Spoutible. Ignore the instigators as they’re only trying to bait you and create an opening to litigate. You and 🐳 don’t need to be a trending topic on that bird hellsite.

You’re doing really well with 🐳. I love it here. Let the trolls burn Twitter to the ground.

As the husband of one of many writers looking to see how this is resolved before moving to a new platform, I think they are looking for meaningful clarification of a policy that has been repeatedly weaponized against marginalized folks on other platforms. They are gun shy and looking for reassurance

Saw this coming during/after one of your pre-launch live spaces on “the site we shall not mention” 😂, when folks were inquiring about sex workers and explicit content. It became clear their sole purpose was to create chaos and attempt to disrupt your vision.

They are just trying to cause trouble and and ruin this amazing platform that you have achieved. Haters are going to hate and cause chaos. We have been dealing with this kind of stupidity on the dead bird app for years. Try to ignore it, delete it and block it. You have our support @cbouzy

It was tantamount to a DoS attack. Flood the app with spouts abt a single subject that leads to replies, echoes, repeats, edits, etc. But the whale stayed on course!

The reason I came here (and my bird account is locked up)- bot farms. They swarm and pick at anything the trolls are aimed at. If you can buy Twitter poll voters, you can buy coordinated attacks. To me this just proves someone is concerned about the success of spoutible.

It seriously does seem to be coordinated. The problem they’ll likely face is that people looking for alternatives to Twitter, don’t want to deal with the crap there, are not the sort to blindly believe just anything tossed in front of them and will have the ability to critically think.

Someone on TW included a photo of a mother nursing her baby as an example. (We need an eyeroll emoji to go right here. This is the best I could find: 😒)
The person accused Spoutible of being nothing more than an echo chamber. I went to comment and discovered they don't allow comments. 😂😂😂

I posted a two different Pride flags in the past 24-hours

“First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. And then you win.”

That they are already putting up this much of a fight after just a few weeks shows just how much you are already winning.

Yeah, it's coordinated. You can see all the usual players on twitter who bash Spoutible and CBouzy going back to the launch of it and even before. One of the women complaining yesterday was bashing Spoutible from the day it started. That's all they tweet about, daily, for over a month.

I'm autistic. I'm an artist whose art people tell me "isn't real art" because of the medium I use. I'm not looking to post porn.

I genuinely want to know what the artistic exception to the adult content policy is with some concrete examples without being dismissed as a troll. Can you help?

It would help if you linked us to what you think would be banned. We don’t know where your thinking is at. I have been reading tweets where someone thinks they’ll get banned for posting pictures about socks, which some people think is kinky. 🤷‍♀️

I think the people who set up and run organized smear attacks like that do it not because it's a personal issue with them, they do it to get followers that they can parlay into paying gigs in the right wing hate and rage pimping economy.

Other than posting TOS clarifications, I believe the best response is no response. It's hard to do, I know. But if they see you come off as defensive, that sends a signal that they've gotten under your skin and it gives them oxygen to keep up the fight. When needed, let your lawyers respond.

What continues to baffle me is this is a private platform which can make its own rules and TOS. The internet has plenty of places to share sexually explicit content. I swear too many people have oppositional defiance disorder. If you said we couldn’t post using red font, they’d scream as well.
