Mobile homes are NOT sufficient shelters during a Category 3/4/5 hurricane.

This is rondesantis drink bleach/flashlight up your bum moment.

If you haven't already evacuated, it's nearly the point where it's too late.

Do NOT stay in your mobile home. Find a shelter.. NOW.

Why do Republicans want to kill themselves? (Assuming people who listen to DeSantis are Repugs)

We like to go to hotels when possible, but last year stayed in our mobile home during Fiona. It was terrifying (I’m a big baby when it comes to high winds) but there was no damage. And this year we have tie-downs! (we were unaware that ours were no longer good.)

For Cat 3, though, we’d leave.

Amazing to me that people ignore these warnings. My sister lives in a mobile home. Any time a hurricane heads up the east coast toward her, she pays attention and books a room at a solid hotel for a couple of days. If you can do this or can get to a shelter, do it.

You are correct! But sadly, that population has drank the kool aid and won’t see this! It’s sad that people don’t believe the science!
