There are things I really hate about French news: interviewing vacationers on the beach. Interviewing people in their cars in traffic jams leaving for vacation. Interviewing people buying school supplies for their kids at the end of summer vacation. Every year. Every fff year.

Are you certain you're not watching American news dubbed into French? Sure does sound familiar right up 'til the "𝑞𝑢'𝑒𝑠𝑡_𝑐𝑒 𝑞𝑢𝑒 ℎ𝑒𝑙𝑙?!?".

Oh geez I thought that was just a Croatian thing. Every year the same. Every year nothing changes, and nobody ever asks questions like "why are there not more trains" or "why does the cost of school supplies (only) go to parents"

It's a worldwide thing, I guess. They do that in Portugal too. We had a Catholic event here and journalists tried to interview people DURING the mass. We don't have journalists anymore, we have reporters, people who report without context or impartiality

They don't have all the shootings that we do to fill the news. They also don't get Halloween junk in stores in August like we do every year now.

Seriously ffs.
