My personal pet peeve is "there's no one here," usually proclaimed by someone following less than 300 accounts.

I follow over 1700 accounts and periodically add to that after reading discussions, checking out spouts in explore, and following back legitimate followers.

Lots to discover. Jump in.

I've been on a holiday - been a bit busy and off here and off .... X , that's not a bad thing ! But I've realised that sometimes the conflicts draw me in to observe and then here, the same conflict memory holds me back from jumping in. It's a transition :)

It takes time. I watched for a while too.

I read a lot of conversations, feeling the people and the place out.

100%. It gets way more fun when you follow > 1000. Whom you follow is the key to Spoutible's true value, more than who follows you.

I follow 600+ and I want to follow more so I need to hit the explore oage or check out some of the people following my mutuals. Inhavw great engagement here but I would happily take some more.

You engage a lot with others too! So many sit back and expect everything handed to them.

Many of the complainers barely spout.
