It's an amazing group isn't it.
Not sure about an entire theme day. We generally get between 300-600 posts a day at the splashtag so the 27 club artists might be a bit restrictive.
That said, it might make an interesting splashtag challenge on a Saturday though. 😉

No worries.
One of the toughest things about setting the Wildcard themes is ensuring they're broad enough to give even casual music fans a home. We (it's more than me) also consider things like diverse tastes, age demographics here, etc.
It may seem off the cuff but a lot goes into the planning.

Seriously though, I think it's a great idea. Why not do it on Saturday? That's the splashtag #AnythingGoes day each week so you'd get more eyes/ears using the #SpoutingClassics tag. It would be a great time & would fit into the theme day anyway.

It's exactly the sort of thing #AnythingGoes day was meant to be for. We wanted people to be creative with what they post, use their imaginations, etc.
