I feel like people developed an addiction to Twitter after so many years. Like many addictions, quitting cold turkey is hard. So they use a "step down". Threads is the Methadone to Twitter's Heroin. Soon folks will realize they've traded deck chairs on the Titanic. Then they'll keep looking.
