The flaw in your logic is that a summary is read before the thread. What you call 'immediate access' follows having whatever mystery, joke, or lesson imparted spoiled by the summary. The summary neuters those moments, it doesn't augment them, That is a rewrite of the intent of the thread.

Once again, it is a summary that is literally located on the unaltered thread. The user has immediate access to the thread and can determine whether the summary is accurate or not. Some are acting like AI is rewriting their thread. Users can ignore the summary and read the unaltered thread.
