And that is exactly why the so-called 'moderate' GOP in Biden won districts, who are extremely vulnerable in 2024, won't do the rational thing and move with Dems to settle things down

Absolutely! Spot on. All the “adults” leaving the party leave wannabe tyrants behind who secure their minority power thru fear of threats and violence. The rest staying silent and giving a minority all the power. Third Reich redo.
