With elections less than a month away, a vetting tip:

Republicans are still running candidates as Trojan horses in local elections. They will claim to be Independent or even Dem.

Check who’s running their campaign finances -if they are Republican, so is the candidate.

Be an informed voter.💙

Not usually that hard to check either. Internet makes everything easier that way.

Check with county Dem committee, most counties have them. They won't usually endorse a candidate in the primary, but they will know who became a Democrat out of nowhere.

We've had a couple Democratic state reps in NH switch to Independent. Very frustrating.

Can you sue them for fraud? I'd sure be trying.

Also, show up to town halls, campaign offices - ask questions about prior experience, past voting records, local affiliations, look them up on their websites, social media (who do they follow). Demand to know who's financing them.
Democracy takes work, not just voting. #resist #persist

That is so dishonest. If you are elected as a Democrat or Republican you should not be able to switch parties after winning.

Just as dangerous is to hold the title Dem but vote Republican in elected policy. Honesty and trust should never be freely given and must be earned. Especially now.

Thanks for sharing this. It is an excellent example of how to present all of this information to the public.
