Cold-weather painful hand cracking season is here for me and will last until late May regardless of how many gallons of lotion I use.

😪 Have you tried Shea butter or almond oil? For my skin, using an oil right after showering and then sealing it in with a butter works in the winter. And I reapply the butter when I wash my hands.

I haven’t, but maybe I should. Making it all worse is I can’t stand having any sort of oil or lotion on my hands.

Ugh! That has to be miserable. I would experiment with different oils and see which one absorbed the fastest on your skin. That way you don't have to feel it as long. Jojoba is really close to the sebum in your body already, so maybe try a small bottle of that?
