I've been reading a thread saying 'I don't see color' I understand how that sounds wrong. But I can also relate to the statement..and yes I am white. I feel like not seeing color means you form an opinion of a person based on actions, character, etc. White ppl need to express this better. 🤔

Anytime I hear that phrase along with Live, Laugh, Love, I instantly think racist. It's like someone is telling me all lives matter. That phrase 'I don't see color' instantly gives off a negative connotation.

I agree. It's condescending and insulting. Maybe saying 'I don't care what color a person is. Skin color isn't a criteria I use to form opinions.'. Thoughts?
