The second game is known in Europe and Australia as "Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer" in Europe and Australia, and in Japan as "Spyro and Sparx: Tondemo Tours".

Spyro, the main protagonist of the trilogy, was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui of Rocko's Modern Life fame before being replaced with Tom Kenny of SpongeBob SquarePants fame.

The first two Spyro games were released in Japan, but they did not go well with Japanese players. The third Spyro game, Year of the Dragon, was skipped in Japan.

Year of the Dragon was the last Spyro game Insomniac Games developed (and also the last to be on the original PlayStation) before they moved on to create the Ratchet & Clank series.

Nearly 18 years later, the remake of the three games was released as part of the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, albeit with different voice actors, with the exceptions of Tom Kenny and Andre Sogliuzzo.

I also remembered the first two games (demo versions on PlayStation Jampack), including the third game. The second and third Spyro games can let you swim underwater.
