Pretty horrific, as are many truths re our history.
We're still doing the feast part, this year in New Mexico, because...food. And any excuse to gather and eat with scattered family we've been missing is what we do.

This article looks really interesting but it’s behind a pay wall so… Indigenous people honored on Indigenous Day. Thanksgiving can be what it is, National Sunday Dinner Day. Family and friends have a day off to celebrate Sunday dinner on Thursday! I want this love holiday to be based on Philia love

Thanksgiving as an an American Indigenous celebration sounds beautiful. Thanksgiving as giving thanks without the propaganda about the beginnings of these United States. Teach some real history in school at this time of year. A day to celebrate true love and friendship and gratitude I want this
