Yes! I'm always so excited when someone lists a book and I find it ready to borrow at the library. 🤓

Does anyone know how to buy/download a book on Kindle? I have Amazon and the Kindle app on my iPhone and yet when they go to purchase it says unsupported. Thanks

Sign in at the Amazon website to purchase. Book will then be downloaded to your device.

Hey Ms Retired! I have an ask. We will lose our connectedness soon for about five days. I can’t fall asleep without tv..unless I have an engaging book or 2.
Right now, I just was escapism-fiction.
I’m good with mystery, thriller ( milder) and romance as long as it isn’t written at the Harlequin

@RetiredLibrarian
Genre or level. If you have some ebook suggestion, I’d be very grateful.

Have you read The Dutch House by Ann Patchett? It's on Kindle. I enjoyed it. Someone here recommended Tom Lake by her too. I'm also a bit of a Jane Austen fan for escapism, so Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensiblility, etc. Or Daphne DuMaurier books, like Rebecca.
