But it goes further than that. Presidential campaigns need LOTS of $$$. History reveals that 3rd party candidates have no chance of winning - ZERO.

So who funds them? They are always funded by special interests trying to siphon votes from legitimate contenders.

He certainly interfered. But I think if Gore had overcome his dislike of Clinton and accepted his campaign assistance, offered and refused, the election could have been his. He threw away great help just because he despised the Clintons. Showing he didn't understand how a President needs to work.
