Just read that 60% of Fox News cable carriage deals are up for negotiation this year. Public pressure works. There is no reason we all should be paying for Fox News as the second most expensive basic channel after ESPN. Put pressure on your cable company. Enough is enough.

That's all they'll do as Faux News is very lucrative (they're #1 rated "news" channel).
Cut the cable, just make sure you tell them why you're doing so - hurt them in their wallet since $$ is all they understand.
Sign petitions too. Google "drop fox news" and you'll find several you can sign.

Everyone w/cable pays $$ that go towards paying whatver channels the cable co. decides to carry. If your cable co. carries Faux News you are helping to fund Faux News whether you like it or not. It's 1 reason why ppl have wanted ala carte cable for so long. The only way to stop it is to drop cable.

FX, FXX, FXM, Fox Sports 1/2, and a couple others in addition to Fox "News" is all part of the package.

It seems like a radical leap, perhaps, but our family dropped cable tv well over 10 years ago, and I have never regretted it. You will be ok! Every single thing I used to watch on tv I still watch on the internet, I've saved 1000's of $$, and the best is that I haven't given one fucking dime to FOX!

We refuse cable and satellite TV simply because we DON'T want to fund #FoxNews to the tune of $140/month (that's what it costs in our area). Pay TV is a racket that ratchets up prices, decreases and manipulates our choices, and funds seditious programing and its actors. Our household says, "NO!"

I dropped cable TV more than a decade ago, long before the right-wing blatant dishonesty and hate mongering reached the high level it is at today. In hindsight, one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm never going back to that.
