•Standards are extremely low.
•Cbouzy is a Black man who built his own platform. (How dare he!)
•Lots miss the drama.
•On Spoutible you're exposed. No hiding behind algos.
•Some like to be influenced by celebrities and large accounts.
•FOMO
🤔 what else?

Here's the thing.

When founding Spoutible, Christopher Bouzy made some promises. Most important to me: a place safe from trolls and bigotry.

And he's kept that promise.

Why would people want to go back to platforms run by people who repeatedly violate their trust (AND privacy?)

I actually didn’t know that Mr. Bouzy was a Black man when I came here. I just liked the safety policies and ease of use (and of course, was looking to escape the Xitter dumpster fire.) I love it here and he deserves the world for gifting us with it. ❤️

Those all sound pretty accurate and likely!

I’ve started wondering if a few accounts I followed over at that hellscape are authentic. They’re either benefiting financially, or have an agenda, because I truly can’t see how not making the move makes sense otherwise.

I know I’m not exclusive to one social platform, but I know this place is definitely the most fun I have

Some people i like to engage with are still over there. And every time they go "if xyz happens I'm leaving" i go "good, come to spoutible."
