Hi Joe,
I don't know if this is helpful, but I have autoimmune which affects my GI. I have been taking metformin 2x day and getting one .5 mg Ozempic injection to control A1C for at least two years. Usually, the side effects will subside after several months of use. I find I tolerate it very well.

Blood sugar fluctuations have been associated with anger, anxiety, and sadness. I had a patient whose blood sugar was in the teens. He was disoriented and aggressive. Once treated those different symptoms went away. Why it's so important to avoid fluctuations. 💜♾️

Thank you Angie this is exactly the information I was looking for.
While my PPO insurance plays stupid about approving a weekly shot I finally took my first Metformin today because the last 24 hours I probably should have went 2 the hospital. I didn’t tolerate Metformin before, but now it’s helping
