Before missionaries invaded, many Indigenous African societies accepted LGBTQIA members & revered them. The idea of people possessing both masculine & feminine energies was respected & beloved. My mind rages to think of the state of vitriolic bigotry, homomisia & transmisia that exist now.

It's true, they are. And the missionaries did just as much harmful damage to our traditional spiritual beliefs and gender roles here, as well.
