Imagine if when cishet white people saw BBIMPs or LGBTQ+ folks talking among themselves about their lived experiences, we read it quietly and just sat with it and thought instead of immediately replying or getting defensive. If we did that even 1 out of every 4 times, how much better could we be?

In response to Goose.
I am in great agreement with you!
I do this a lot, actually.
There are many times that I come to spoutible and just read. And think.

Many times I see QS that seem to some degree unnecessary, just a kind of pogoing on top of important thoughts. (And I understand that impulse, too.)

Yeah, I think one issue is that a QS is really the most efficient way to boost a post (because it shows up in Explore, unlike Echoes) which makes it kind of a weird balancing act if you see something you like, and want as broad an audience as possible to see it, but you don’t have much to add. 🤷‍♂️
