My one good thing is your post. What a wonderful idea. Reminds me of a dear old friend who said you should do one good thing for someone else everyday, even if it’s just to stop so they can cross the street.

This is a great way to live life.
Today I finished a project (leatherwork) that I had sitting on a shelf for awhile. Now it's done & delivered. My friend needed a belt with bells on it for his Santa suit to entertain children. Now everyone will hear Santa jingling at Legion family Christmas event.

I have two things right now. I'm trying to learn gaelic, it's hard because you have to wrap your tongue around some words saying it, so I'm getting there slowly. Also mum and I are going out to Glasgow for her biopsy, we thank the macmillian nurses in Glasgow and in uist who are coming to see &talk

Today we managed to get our holiday gift situation in order in a way we never have before -- by which I mean, actually getting holiday gifts locally & in a timely manner -- by which I mean, *before* the holiday on which said gifts are exchanged.
A no-brainer for most, huge for us.

Well thanks to you I’m reflecting on my day and it was so good. Woke up quite rested which is amazing. Went out for coffee and the most delish braided French pastry with raspberries. Did a yoga class, finished the 2 day top to bottom kitchen cleaning I’ve put off forever, and now piano playing. 🐳

Today marked one of the first days since having COVID in September that saw me wake up feeling clear-headed and ready to take on my day. It feels like I’m turning a corner and headed for good things. Wishing the same for everyone here 💕💕💕

I used to get gout. My hubby used to get gout. I researched cell salts that help with gout and neither of us have had gout for at least a decade.

I got to see Susan Werner live stream her 4th Annual Christmas Susie on a Sunday. During lockdown she performed weekly online to entertain a bunch of us on FB & YouTube. It is great that even now when she is out touring she live streamed a show for us at home.

Something I used to do, but haven't in awhile. Get a jar or bowl. Every day write down something good that happened that day and place in the jar. On New Year's Eve open the jar and read the papers to be reminded of all the goodness the last year held.

I'm more free now than ever before. I can say no, I can question, I can enjoy life. For most of my first 21 years of life, I was abused and mistreated, even by those who claimed to love me or were blood relatives.
Getting away from those unhealthy relationships gave me hope for a better life.

The hot water in my house suddenly became too hot for comfort the last few days.
Not to worry, today I figured out how to fix it all by myself. I found the dial on the hot water heater that a gremlin must have turned up a little too high and turned it down. #OneGoodThing

My S called this morning and my BIL is doing well after a surgery. He had to have drains for several weeks and they are all out now. This is good for him but also my sister who feels she doesn't have to be his "nurse" any longer. Also, I got to see my granddog. Sorry that's 2/3. #OneGoodThing

The one good thing in my life is waking up every day. My life should of have ended in the 80's from Aquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome. Every day is a Blessing.

Same. My first partner didn't make it. My husband's first partner didn't make it. I remember *the day* when I realised I would have to start making new friends because all of my current ones were dead or dying. Yes, each day I wake up is a gift.
