Inclusive includes an acceptance of differing points of view, and that identity includes all manner of things, including, for example, beliefs that others do not share - and that those can be conflicting. The very basis of liberal thinking is based on that; based on the idea of acceptance -

and that acceptance is a 2-way street. Prioritising one set of beliefs over another by law or policy is an attack on that other set of beliefs; understanding that is what makes for balanced policies. Not understanding that is what creates division -

it might create "safe spaces" but it makes what is outside those spaces less safe. It is the very opposite of being liberal, and it is like a gated community; it is *not* inclusive. It also suppresses debate and leads to a monoculture and all the evils associated therein.
