I'm so happy that the Brooklyn Public Library will allow students anywhere in the country to check out ebooks and audiobooks. It will have many of the books on the banned list as always available. Give a kindle, new or used to a student in need.

I think they should read them all before banning. Every book that is banned should be read by the person who makes the decision to ban it, and they ought to

People think teachers unions are more powerful than they are. Things changed maybe 10 - 15 years ago. Even with a shortage of qualified teachers, school districts don't feel a need to appease anyone.

My daughter (born and raised in WI/MN) is horrified about what's going on. She lives south of Tampa. She has read any book she has ever wanted to read her whole life. Her kids are reading above their grade levels. It kills me to watch what is happening.
