I won't stop saying it. Natural. Hair. Is. Beautiful. My dreads means everything to me. I started them in 1995 & they reach my knees now in full-on salt & pepper gray. They're full of memories & power. It's beyond criminal to still be fighting this racist battle over hairstyles. When does it end?

The CROWN ACT is supposed to protect African Americans from hair discrimination. So why is a highschool senior in Texas being expelled over his locs? My latest from Slate

🖐🏾♥️💋Thank u, sis. I feel for this kiddo and so many other folks fighting this racist battle. Too many were coerced into cutting their dreads to save their jobs or so they'd be able to stay in school. Too many. It's beyond enraging🔥🔥🔥
