Let me just come right out and say it: I love Bernie Sanders.

I love Bernie because he has more guts than any politician I know.

Hell, he has more guts than just about anyone I know.

I'm less enthused about Bernie Sanders than I used to be, but I understand why he is admired by many.

If nothing else, he helped shift the Overton Window on standing up to capitalist greed, on minimum wage and on universal health care.

So you just ignore the blatant misogyny and the racism behind his "economic justice" policies?

Because he never stops with that ish.

Spoken as a 2015 Bernie primary voter who also used to not see my misogyny and racism.

I do thank Bernie for helping me see my own faults though.

He has consistently belittled concerns about abortion rights and he’s STILL pushing his “economic issues matter more” message. I prefer candidates who see my civil rights as a top priority. (And few decisions have more economic impact that starting a family!)

Agreed, I'd like to thank Vermont everyday for sending us a Democratic Socialist who's willing to stand up for the Middle Class Across the country.

we agree the "level of income and wealth inequality is immoral" but what can Bernie really do about it? politics/government is broken. C4SI is building a sovereign wealth fund to share capitalisms' excesses & put cash in the hands of those living in poverty. we're small, but we're doing something.

He's okay. But too shouty (and repetitive), not very effective, and a bit of a misogynist.
