Republicans should be terrified because Tom Suozzi exceeded my model by a lot.
Christopher Bouzy @cbouzy
Once again, pundits would have you believe the race between Mazi Pilip and Tom Suozzi is a toss up; it's not. Tom Suozzi will win by 3+ points.

Where can we find them? We would like to see HOW WRONG the polls are.

And once again, the media is trying hard to downplay this huge Democratic win.

Republicans should be terrified, they are losing elections at every level all across the country by HUGE margins and will again in November.

"There were a couple polls I saw recently that had a modest single-point lead for Suozzi. But at least one of these and I think two also added a tighter screen of voters who were sure they were going to vote — slightly different from a standard “likely voter” screen.

Now imagine what happens if we see this sort of overperformance from Biden come November.

Agreed, and it's less the fear and more the response that we're continually rallying against.

Good job, Christopher! I’m wondering how much longer the GOP will exist. It’s truly just the GOP in name. I know they love the power, but when they squeeze out the likes of Liz Cheney, where are they really headed?

Didn’t Dems greatly overperform a state legislature race in Oklahoma by 20 points too? The Republican only won by 5 points in a ruby red state.

No, Dems are not OVERperforming.

We are PERFORMING, on the issues, in fundraising, on social media, in our ground game...while the pollsters, the pundits, and above all our sworn enemies consistently UNDERperform.

19 or 20 points is a heck of lot!
The science of predicting election results has been set back decades in the last few years. Pollsters haven't a clue anymore

With 73.4 percent of the votes counted, it’s now ~11 percent. Still a big win considering polls had Suozzi in the lead but “within the margin of error.”

No kidding. Trump is pushing a NC GOP chair who's an election denier (of course) and his DiL, Lara Trump, as RNC chair & co-chair. Srsly

But, they still have to be elected by the RNC members. Their problem is that they're gonna allow Trump to run that org into the ground, too. ¯(°_o)/¯
