I’d feel better about it if the jury was actually anonymous.

It’s infuriating.
If you can’t do your civil duty without being terrorized, why even show up?

I hope so. The thing I'm afraid of is he gets convicted but only gets probation or something criminally small like that. I think people have lost so much faith in our justice system already. If we all go through this and he gets off?? I fear they'll never get that faith back.

My 94 y/o Nana told me Monday that it would be not guilty or hung. 😒...and I haven't been able to shake it since.

I am cautiously hopeful, but all it takes is one maga to slip through and insist on not guilty, and the case deadlocks.

I want him to be charged but I’m just not sure. He gets away with so much. .

With the lack of juror protection, I'm beginning to have doubts that they'll come up with enough jurors to proceed.

Just takes one determined MAGA to slip in to the jury pool to screw things up. Someone far more interested in protecting Dear Leader than the truth.

They only get 10 outs each.

But, I sincerely hope justice finally catches up with the mango menace. May justice triumph in all the next trials, too.

They're gonna have to rein in their freak flag something fierce to make such a poison pill happen. And MAGA is rightly not known for its self-control.

Hoping he will be, but won’t be shocked if he isn’t. Trump is a perfect example of white supremacy in the US, and like Zimmerman, etc, they do get away with murder/criminalities.

I'm gonna go further and say he's bound for the Walls assuming no fatal health collapse (Presidential level healthcare will mitigate his horrible lifestyle choices, though).

All of you who said he'd never been charged, never be tried...getting tired of being wrong yet?

I WISH... but sadly, no. I don't think that'll happen, despite overwhelming evidence (in this case AND Georgia). If ANYTHING, it'll be a slap on the wrist and "home" arrest if at all.

Convicted? Absolutely, the evidence seems pretty clear.

You mean the same way folks said that he'd never be charged, never be tried, flee the country before all this happened, etc?

After a certain point, I have a harder and harder time buying into the next "he'll never" statement of this type.

That's also my prediction even though I said no to conviction but this is what I meant. Toothless conviction that won't stop him. Symbolic victories over an existential threat aren't very meaningful to me.

I, like the 22% that voted "unsure" at the time I voted, probably feel like I do. Orange Beelzebubba is slippery like eel (and just as gross and slimy). I can't predict what the jurors will decide. He has competent legal counsel who will pull all the levers they can for him.

There's no question he did it. The only question is whether a jury will convict. I say yes.

He has never been held accountable for anything. I do hope with every beat of my heart that I am wrong, society has been very disappointing.

I fear there could be a juror who is supportive of 45. If all of the jurors really listen to the evidence presented, it should be a slam dunk.
