OH! I ❤️ this!

Rep Bennie Thompson (D-MS), ranking member of the Hse Cmte on Homeland Security, is introducing a new bill to terminate Secret Service protection for individuals convicted of either state or local felonies.

More in spout #2 ...

The 'DISGRACED Act'

"A source in Thompson's office told Newsweek that the bill would affect anyone who is sentenced for a felony and wld otherwise have Secret Service protection, adding: "Nobody should have special treatment, & that happens to include the former president."

BOOM!

The last I checked on Congress dot com, he has 8 co-sponsors.

The challenge is getting it passed in cmte, Hse Judiciary Cmte, which is chaired by 'Gym' Jordan. UGH!

The biggest prob is tht the GOP only think in terms of Trump...for everything! The tunnel vision is HUGE with these ppl. 😡

Correction on the members of the Homeland Security Cmte:

Chairman is NOT Gym Jordan. It's Rep Mark Green.
GOP: Incl, MTG & Dan Bishop. I'm not familiar with the others

Dems: Incl, Eric Swalwell, Dan Goldman, Tom Suozzi

Let's see how this roles out 🤞🏼🤞🏼

So, the Secret Service' (of disappearing voicemails & admin burner phones) pushing for "Home Confinement," if Trump is ordered detained; "A prison," the band of brother's & EFL lovers quiet spiel goes, "Impossible!" has been sussed out by Rep. Bennie Thompson. Dreams of years of cushy duty gone.😂
