79 years ago, patriotic Americans went to France to throw out the Nazis. This year, all you have to do is go to the polls and vote.

My mother's first husband was killed in France just after the Normandy invasion. My father was an Artillery Forward Observer in Direct Support of the Joint Canadian & American First Special Service Force (known as the Devil's Brigade). He fought in Italy earning a Silver Star for valor.

My mother’s brother was killed at the Battle of the Bulge. So many sacrificed their lives to fight against Fascism. Also the spread of Autocratic rule - gladly my tax dollars went to support Ukraine.

So many of us have family that sacrificed everything to stop Nazis. I hope we have the same courage as our fight looms ahead of us.

My Dad fought Nazis - arrived with 2nd Armored Div in France at Normandy on D-Day +3.

I will vote accordingly. 🇺🇸💙🌊

All of the heroes that raised us are fading away. We are aging too. I hope that we instilled the same values in our children that our parents gave to us. I am afraid we had it too easy and took our freedom for granted.
